The Fernandes Vieira Group demonstrates its commitment to the quality of living of both its collaborators and the community at large by way of actions developed by the Group's companies.
There are cultural support projects directed toward the needy population, such as the Memorial Solidarity Project at the São José Memorial Hospital and Clinics, and actions like those of the Santa Joana Hospital that sponsor cultural events.
Recognition from the society for the group's actions is evident in the certifications received, such as the one given to Aqualíder - the group's shrimp farming enterprise -, which earned the title of Child Friendly Business from the Abrinq Foundation.
Respect for the environment, backed up with a strict environmental policy, was decisive when the Atlantis company - marine shrimp producer - earned its ISO 14001 certificate for environmental conservation. With it, Atlantis became one of the first companies in the field - the world over - to receive the certificate, adopting the slogan Nature Friendly Business.
In addition to the above, other projects and actions are supported and developed together with communities, NGOs and governmental organizations. This is a clear demonstration that the directives that guide the group's steps toward the growth and diversification of its businesses bring with them the responsibility of healthy socio-environmental development.
